An seinem 18. Geburtstag bekommt Goku von seinem Großvater Gohan einen Dragonball geschenkt. Dahinter steckt Lord Piccolo, der mit Hilfe der Dragonballs einen alten Monsterkumpel wiedererwecken und so seine private Hölle auf Erden erschaffen will. Doch Goku hat Glück, er muss sich der Herausforderung nicht alleine stellen.
